About Anita

Anita Downing is a driving instructor who brings 25 years of expertise to the scene.  She retired from the DMV after serving 25 years as an examiner for road tests.  You will not find a Driver's training course taught by a retired DMV examiner anywhere else in the East Bay.  

Anita's specialty is provisional drivers as she has a passion for interacting with youth.  She also specializes in refresher courses for seniors, late-bloomers, and out-of-state drivers.

Anita is DMV licensed (#2109) and is owner / operator of Anita’s Driver’s Training.
